Tia turns 1!!!!

Today Tia celebrated her first Birthday. Here are some pictures of her celebration!
First there is CAKE!!! Think she had fun?
Then there is bath time, we've gotta get cleaned up so we can open presents!
we've got books... we've got a new clock....
And Tia's first horse! She was able to climb right up on it as we pushed her around.
Here is a picture from Tia at one day old vs. her today after a hard day of cake & presents!

Here are some pictures of Tia from Baby's R Us where she had them taken on Saturday.

What a joy Tia is to our lives. Its hard to believe that one year has already passed. In 5 months we'll be adding another one to the family and we are all very excited.

Tia playing hard...

The other night something really got Tia going. Next thing you know she is jumping up and down on a air mattress that we had blown up and she couldn't stop giggling. One thing to note, it was about 9:00 and she had just been given her bottle so she'd go to sleep. Well about 45 minutes later and all sweaty she was in no mood to go to sleep. So while this picture might look a little funny, just note that this was the only picture we could get as she was crawling towards us.

She sure was having fun though, and Mom and Dad couldn't stop laughing either.

Here are a few pictures of Tia along with a picture of our backyard after the snowfall last week.

Tia climbed up on these boxes by herself... then she started to talk to us and we walked around the corner and this is the shot we got.

our backyard after the latest snow storm last week. We got about 4 inches and it has since all melted.

Snow in Sun Valley...

Here are a few pictures from my parents in Sun Valley. When we were there over Christmas there was barely any snow. Well that has obviously changed now!!!

The Governors Race Continues

As stated in my last post the Washington Governors race has become very controversial. I would encourage all of you who truly feel that a revote should occur to not only go to revotewa.com to sign the online petition. But to also to call, email or send a letter to your legislature in Olympia. If you are like me you didn't really know how to contact your legislature, but after a quick google search I came up with the page the allows you to locate your district.

Remember they work for us, we pay their salary and if we don't like how they represent us we can remember that and come their next election they will know that by getting voted out of office.

I would encourage all to send a email or call. Contact your Senator/Representative

WOW!! I feel like I am getting all political on everyone. Here you are coming here for pictures of Tia and you are getting this. YIKES!!! Well I really feel this is important, but I also love Tia I know that most of you come here to see pictures of her.

Washington State Governor's Election 2004

For those of you who either don't follow the news or don't live in the State of Washington, the 2004 Washington State Governors Election was the closet and most controversial in history.

It has now been recounted enough times for the Democrats to declare victory and for Christine Gregoire to become the newly certified Governor Elect.

Thankfully the Washington State Republican Committee is not going to sit still why the Democrats steal this election. They have a petition on the web that you can sign. They will then take this to the legislature and petition on behalf of the people of Washington State to have a simple one time revote for the Governors race. This way we can have one simple ballot style; one clear set of counting rules; with everyone watching closely and have one uncontested winner.

So if you believe that we should have a revote in the Governors race please click on the link above.
