Mule Deer Hunt
This past weekend Tom and Tim Degan, Jesse Moore and myself were invited to go to our friend Jesse's parents, John and Debbie Moore's ranch in Miles City, MT . Were we were able to hunt Mule Deer and Antelope. We had a great time hiking through the hills, waking up in the early hours of the morning and getting the opportunity to see the beautiful country that Jesse and his family call home. What amazing country it is and we all feel very privileged to have been allowed to go out and spend four days exploring their property and hunting for deer and antelope.
There was lots of adventure involved in our trip, which for those of you that know us know that anytime you put Tom, Tim and I together there is bound to be great stories made and this trip was no different. This trip we unfortunately had Tom go down with a severe ankle sprain that left him hobbling around the remainder of the trip. To make matters worse this happened to Tom during the morning of our first day of the hunting trip. Tom was a true trooper and was back out there the next day and while he was slowed down he was still determined to get out and hunt and have a great time.
All in all our trip was somewhat successful in the game we were able to bring home, but we were able to create memories that will last a lifetime and I can speak for Tom and Tim, that we had a amazing time and we can't thank Jesse and his family enough for opening their ranch and home to us.
